Wrong address on my check what to do?
My boss spelled one of the letter wrong for the address on my check. Will this affect anything when i do my tax return? I worked there for only 2 months and quit. i was going to tell my boss before i left. i still have 1 check left to retrieve. should i text my boss..

Your taxes are tied to your SSN. A misspelling on your address won't matter. In fact, an entirely different address won't impact your taxes. It is NORMAL for people to move. The only potential problem is if the post office can't figure out where to deliver your W-2, and if the ZIP code is correct, they probably won't even notice the misspelled address.

No other than you may not get your W2 in the mail. You need to inform them before January.

as long as you get the cheque and your name is correctly spelled, along with your tax ID number correct, you're good. other spelling errors are ingonred
