I'm no fan of Trump but to say he isn't a * modern * politician whatever that really means is missing the point. We need to seeing neo liberalism as the only thing that is modern as it is a massive blind spot that people like Trump take full advantage of.

Alcohol consumption isn't on the agenda. The Prohibition laws followed on the heels of women's right to vote, because they'd suffered too much from husbands who came home drunk and beat them. Prohibition isn't an issue right now.
