Will this compressor work well?
I m looking at a husky compressor. 8 gal 135psi and 3.7@90 psi 1.8hp motor. But there is a tool set i like that all the tools are 4.0@90psi. Would this compressor be able to power these tools? I know it can t power them constantly but like will it work to remove a few bolts before needing to be stop to build pressure. I don t see me needing air tools alot. I m just wondering if something were to come up from time to time that does require some air tool use would this compressor be fine?

You need a minimum of 120 psi for an impact wrench. Check out Coleman compressors at Menard's. I bought a $110 diaphragm compressor 8 years ago and it's held up well.

I have a similar sized compressor I bought from sears about thirty years ago. The rating is 2 hp and 4.4 at 90psi. I have two half inch drive air wrenches, an air drill, an air ratchet and a die grinder and i have no problems on my farm shop taking an eight bolt tire off without waiting for air. I do have a 25 gallon storage tank though so that does extend my reserve.

To run high CFM draw air tools you really need a compressor with a bigger air tank. A 25 gallon tank would be much better. Higher CFM wouldn't hurt either.
