Depending on the skill level set for the computer, it's possible... but extremely improbable that a computer will fall for common traps since the standard "brute force" deal that chess engines generally do is analyze & evaluate (with a score) for every possible move it has available to select the best move it's checked (as computers will do some Min-Maxing).
Therefore, it'll most likely calculate a low score for such moves & discard them as viable options to avoid such traps... It's not a guarantee in all cases.

On a computer like Deep Blue, no, unless you were very, very good. But on many chess programs, you can lower the difficultly level and it makes mistakes on purpose.

The chess engine would have to be set to a very low level to have it fall victim to a well-known chess trap. If it is set to a higher level it will not fall victim to it.

Yes, it's possible, but it's becoming increasingly difficult, and well-nigh impossible for most players. The good news is, once you've found the weak point, you can keep winning with the same tactic!
