Should i add my ex-friend on facebook?

I've known my friend Josh since junior year of high school so about 5 years now. He's never down for anything. He always find an excuse. We listen to similar bands and I've invited him to go concert with me 3 different times and he decline or beat around the bush.. I've invited him to parties and birthday but of course he said no. The only time he's down to go out is to restaurant to eat. We went to the same college for 2 years until he move 3 hours away and became even very distant. To be honest i've felt like he only kept me as a friend after high school because i was majoring in pilot and i had a car. He never drove in college so i helped picked and drop him off sometimes. After moving we still played PS4 together and when i'm around his city i would try to make plans. But he would always beat around the bush. It started to become more clear now. He had a crush on this girl not only that he has confidence issues with girls. I'm sick of his lack of confidence to girls and text him if he doesn't talk to her i don't even know him anymore. Soon after that he deleted me off PS4. I didn't care and deleted him off facebook few weeks later. I didn't regret. He doesn't seem to care at all because he hasn't text me since deleting me off ps4. I kind of want to add him and talk about some girl i used to know. I don't plan on furthering the relationship.
