Who was soldier Field?

What war did he fight in? Did he win a medal? I can't find his name in the history books.

So why did they name a stadium after him?

Dude, you're on the internet, one would assume you have the basic intelligence to do a simple google search. You're coming across as embarrassingly dumb.

    ------------------------

History. Soldier Field was designed in 1919 and opened on October 9, 1924, as Municipal Grant Park Stadium. The name was changed to Soldier Field on November 11, 1925, as a memorial to U.S. soldiers who had died in combat.

Your parents make you wear a helmet all the time, don't they? they should rethink that, a hard blow to the head might do you some good.
