What affordable camera to use for recording lectures?

I live in India. I want to explain some concepts (related mostly to Physics and Mathematics) on a board in my room. I want to record it and post on YouTube.

What camera should I go for?

    Any digital camera capable of recording video, or a camcorder (that takes memory cards) would do just fine.
