Are isp authorized agents legitimate or scams?

I have windstream at my house, garbage internet. If you don t have windstream, you are in luck. Aside from that, I get 6 Mbps internet, junk. I can get 12 at my house but they want to change me $35 more than what I am paying. I saw authorized agents that sell it for apparently 50 Mbps at my house even after I put in address. I am not sure if I should trust the authorized agents or not.

No, don't trust them. Your house may be "technology limited". That is, there may be a maximum speed any ISP can provide, not any more...

Just shop around for other ISPs. Whatever rates and speeds they quote you would be more realistic.

"Agents" may have long term contracts with certain penalties. You don't want to sign any of those without a lawyer reading all the fine print....
