I use green bananas frequently, but always have trouble with the peeling. I end up making a mess Any good ideas?

  • Take a sharp paring knife or a filet knife. Cut the top off, then run the knife the length of the banana (enough pressure to pierce the skin all the way down). Easy peasy.

    I cut a little bit off each end then run the knife tip down the skin. Makes peeling easier.

    Peel them from the bottom instead.
