trump supporters, can you clarify this?
drain the swamp - from what you posted on here repeatedly, it is to get rid of the corrupt politicians in government by getting rid of the lobbyists/special interest groups that big business uses to buy politicians.
Now those same big businesses that buy that are in key positions in the trump administration where they can make themselves a lot of money by changing policy. so they did get rid of their need for lobbyists by just skipping the politicians and now working in the white house.
to include fox news, the media put on a story yesterday that the republicans signed a bill that will make it so they will no longer be investigated by an independent ethics investigation group.
so can you explain how this is not corruption or leading to corruption?
or can you explain why you still support trump and the republicans if you voted for them to end this type of corruption?

No, you have a basic misunderstanding of how this works. Corporations don't "buy off" government officials; government extorts corporations. Paying a senator to influence whether a regulation kills your business is something businessmen would rather not have to do. Bill Gates had one lonely lobbyist in Washington until they tried to break up Microsoft; at which point they had to respond with an army of lawyers and lobbyists. This was part of the Gleichschaltung that got corporations to go with the Nazis. Hitler seems to have gotten the idea at least in part from Woodrow Wilson and in at least one letter noted that FDR was doing much the same. Trump's rich guys may continue crony capitalism, but they are less likely to continue the fascist economic policies than are the Democrats.
