if republicans are religious conservative, care for the people, are about jobs, than why are their policies the exact opposite of that?

so we have alternative energy sources being used around the world, we have hemp that can easily take over almost everything we use logging for as well as oil products and making fabrics at a cheaper cost and being extremely environmentally friendly, but the gop wants to continue to destroy. There is the greatest potential to actually create jobs and create a better future and the examples of other countries doing this will none of the ill effects that republicans say will happen.  
so if republicans are supposed to be for the people, why are their policies the exact opposite?

So that explains why despite years of control of the House and/or Senate, the Democrats never advanced a bill to do that, and why the 2-term Democrat president never pushed for such a law.

for the first 200+ years of this nation's existence, "let the government do it because we can't be bothered to take accountability for ourselves" was not considered the core of "liberal" thought....
