Can anyone explain to me why so many people say a player who is a DH for most of his career (Edgar Martinez maybe) should not be in the HOF?
because he was only "half a player (meaning he didn't play defense) but do not use the same logic for AL pitchers who ONLY play defense? Aren't they "half players" too?

AND pitchers usually only pitch every fifth game too. they're soooo lazy!!!
