the people are deeply divided, cuz you have folks with no core values, just ranting about non issues that support the commie teachers who should never have been hired and feel entitled as if they actually had substance and they don't... so you want to know how to make blind people see ?! good question

    the people make the country

one man can only change that if the people lose faith in their communal identification... thats the only good part out of obamas speech... you should never judge people by where they come from... consider us all citizens and we shall always be one nation... divercity makes nations stronger and more accepting...

hitler picked on jews in a time when the people were ununited and scared...

hitler told the nation it was ok to blame every negative effect on jews... by the time people figured out hitlers horrible second agenda, they were all accessary to this crime that kept going on for horrible years... numerous baffeled people cooperated in the deportation of jews... even if they used to be friends before... how could this happen? by loozing faith in a nation, and giving all power to one human being... that is too much power for one human being...

you have to hold on to your power, always, and accept all your fellow citizens as brothers and sisters... to keep life balanced...

    its up to you

like any negotiator, you begin by scoping out what you think the other side's limits are. how far would they be willing to go? then you do the same for your side ...

if the two limits do not overlap, the negotiation is pointless [except to make pr and kill time] and you'll do better to focus your energies on improving your positions.

if they do overlap, then you begin by proposing something close to their limit [but outside it] -- expecting them to come back with something within their limits [but possibly exceeding yours].

exceeding the estimated limits as a negotiating tactic is ok -- but if the other side hardens their position outside your limits -- you walk out.

    ***

example: the many times stated Palestinian limit is that Israel shall not exist. As Israel, this is not within your limits at all. Any time you conclude they will not agree to anything that leaves Israel sovereign and in place [with minor border changes permitted], then you walk out -- and cast the blame on them for refusing to allow your people to be free [or whatever other phrase sells your position to your backers].
