    Well, if you look at the last time a major power put up a wall and the reason they gave for it's construction and then the actual reason for it's construction, that could possibly answer your question...

    If the walls gets built. Americans will be advised not to go to mexico. They will be unwanted, threaded, harassed and it would not be safe. But the wall will not stop the Mexicans from coming to the U.S. Still can go around, over, plan or boat.
