I 'm 24 years old and I have worked at a call center for 2 years, and just recently I have gotten to the point where I literally cannot do it anymore.
I cannot will myself to work there anymore and I am usually late most days because of it.
So, because of my anxiety and depression I have not been able to tell my boss I'm giving her 2 weeks notice, yet I can't keep working there, so I didn't show up.
The boss is leaving messages on my phone stating that she is concerned. What do i do?

You call your employer because your employer is concerned about you. Don't think for one minute, your employer doesn't know about your social anxiety and depression. Your employer wants to help you get through this so give yourself the chance to be helped, which should include you seeking the help of a psychiatrist, especially for your depression.

Well, you're going to get fired soon, so either be a grownup and give your two weeks' notice or wait for your boss to fire you.

Are you in therapy? Your anxiety and depression are interfering with basic functioning, obligations, and responsibilities. It's time for therapy and, if necessary, medication. I like Xanax.
Unless you get to the root of your anxiety and depression and DEAL with it, you will not be successful in life, you will be anxious, awkward, and dependent on others to function for you.
Meanwhile, suck it up buttercup and tell your boss you are quitting. Somebody else has to be called in to cover for you on their day off, or they are working a double shift. Either way, you are taking time away from their family, hobbies, and interests for your own selfish pity party. Put on your big boy/girl pants, give your notice, and get into therapy.

Call your boss and let them know you are ok but are going through some personal stuff. If you are in a position to be able to quit and not wreck your life then go for it. You are still young. Find something that doesnt make you so miserable. dont expect to find a job you love but at least one that isnt awful to you.

Just be honest. That's all you can do really... Well you could just say screw it and leave your boss hanging but I wouldn't do that. I know if I were your boss I'd rather you say something than leave me in the dark.
