I'm trying to write a heavy metal concept album and I want a fantasy Novel that hasn't been done to death to base it on.?

So, you know, no Tolkien, no Potter, no Narnia etc.

Ideally not too recent.

    So, you want to write something but you have absolutely no idea what it is. That's not how it works. The idea needs to come first. If you don't have one, don't write.

    I think you should re-think Potter. I'd like to hear a heavy metal concept album with a song about Ron Weasley or Hermione when they started school. It would be hilarious.
