As a country? Definitely not. We have passed more anti-terror legislation than any other country since 9/11. I am opposed to it- it is playing into terrorist's hands- but whatever your views on terrorism, our government has not been ignoring it.

So far the reaction and coverage of this latest attack is playing right into IS's hands. I won't be cowering and living in fear. These car attacks are pure evil, and suited to those with mental illness; there's almost no way of anticipating them so what's the point of changing anything in our lives.
