Recent news indicates that the Yahoo name will be removed with the acquisition by Verizon. What else of Yahoo will be removed? Will Answers in some form continue? Will Yahoo mail be cancelled so that a new email address will be required to replace it?

With how successful yahoo has been I expect Verizon to make minor tweaks but no major changes to yahoo

I think i will Survive but we wont know for Sure until Verizon takes over as far as all your Questions goes we wont know the Answer to any of that until Verizon takes over the Site
