What does that weird looking symbol beside Toronto name mean?
I was checking the standings this morning and i noticed some strange looking symbol beside Toronto's name. I have a faint memory of it meaning something important. But I can't remember anything nhl related between the April and June 20th for the last 12 years it's like nothing happened. It's like my memory has been repressed or something

I was at the game last night, and that might have been the most stressful regular season home game I've been to that I can remember (I'll admit I was convinced they were going to lose when PIT scored to make it 3-2).
Still not sure what that little symbol is, but I hear it's good.

If it's an "X" then that means they clinched the playoffs
