U.S. says Syria gassed people, Russia says Syria didn't, that an ISIS stockpile was bombed. Who is telling the truth?

I have not heard evidence from either of those sides, and I haven't even heard from Syria its self on the matter.

How do I go about dissecting the information?

To answer my own question, I cannot decide what is the truth because I have not even seen evidence to decide on said evidence yet (evidence has not been given). Undecided, my answer.

U.S. did not wait for an inquiry. Are you going to believe the U.S. government and the U.S. military or U.S. intelligence? Hell, no. They know the answer but it is "classified". Russia did not know about the attack and Pres Assad did not do it. He had no reason to use chemical weapons but al Nusra did. Putin is correct, the terrorist groups now can use more WMDs because Assad is getting blamed by Europe and the U.S.

Did anyone say "Russia did it"?

It's Russia! That should be all you need to know. Why would you even stop to consider what Russia, the masters of propaganda, has to say at all? I never thought that in my entire life I would hear an AMERICAN ask whether to believe their own country or Russia. How depressing...

You watch MSNBC. It's what you do.

  • Russia says Syria did't because Russia did it.

  • well you have the obvious signs of those who died from the gas with the classic symptoms of a nerve agent and assad has done it before more than once. so yeah, Syria did it and Russia is supporting them
