Trying to body build so tell me about foods?

I am a weight gainer bc of my high metabolism. I know proteins build muscles and amino's build proteins. what is the diff between carbs and sugars bc I know carbs R sugars so idk why separate them and say "oh 29 of carbs r the sugars". Plus fats too. what do all these do and what role do they all play?

    Protein is for growing muscles , calories is for gaining weight, eat high calorie foods with good amounts of protein every 3 hours & workout 5 days a week and u will easily gain weight every week
