question for any lawyers out there, or any wanna be lawyers. child custodyy question from Louisiana?

Does a woman have a legal right to meet the women who her ex is living with when he has partial custody? My daughters ex is living with a woman and her children. My grandbabies live with them every other weekend and during the summer. I think I remember somewhere that my daughter has a right to meet the girlfriend because she shares in the responsibility of taking care of the kids. Can my daughter demand to meet her legally?

You would think, but no. You don't have any legal right to meet these people.

Generally speaking, what ever happens during visitation is just non of your business. I know that doesn't make sense, but that's what it is. The other parent can do and see almost anyone and never tell you about it. They can live with anyone.

The most obvious exception to that is if you can show that it's a danger for the child.

I live in LA and had the same issue. The judge said I had no right to meet the woman.
