Will the war on terror eventually lead to overthrow of Islam as a permanent solution to violence in the name of God?

No it will lead to worldwide martial law as it has already started today in different countries.. The world will be one as the fight on terrorism will bring the world together breaking down the boundaries of religion and everyone will have to accept each other even if they have different beliefs. No because you cannot "overthrow" 1.8 billion people. The people who you need to "overthrow" are the people who cause this harm in the name of Islam. Islam does not preach violence, in fact it says in the Quran 5:32 that whoever kills one person unjustifiably, has killed the whole of mankind. islam isnt the problem.. if you knew your statistics.. there are 1.6billion muslims on earth.. if muslims were terrorists, you'd be dead now hun... in fact, there are more deaths in USA by toddlers picking up unchecked guns in their own homes, then there are by terrorists... terrorism by muslims are only .000001% a fraction of all the terrorism done by non muslims.. and the greatest are white extremists who claim to be christians.. do your research hun...
