changing the water pump on a 1999 Chevy blazer 4.3 ?

hi guys ! I have a 99 Chevy blazer 4.3 and I need to change the water pump ! do any of you know which way the big nut on the fan turns to remove it ? thanks guys !

    Lefty loosey. Heat the nut with an oxyacetylene torch and then hit the wrench with a hammer to break it loose.
