Atheists: suppose that God's existence is proven to you and you become convinced he is the lord but you are still not satisfied with his....?

Behavior/ the way he does things like letting innocent kids die in a gruesome way that seems merciless to you, would disobey him and refuse to follow his commandements based on his actions that did not impress you?

Becoming convinced of the existence of 'god' typically goes hand in hand with not questioning the motives of said 'god'.

It basically assumes that, regardless of what something might appear like to you, it's all part of 'god's plan'.

If it was proved that God exists,

    but was an evil demon,

I hope I would have the courage to resist it.

If there is proof God exists, then there is proof.

Any rational person should already be appalled at the gruesome deaths your God allows.

If a god's existence was proven to me, and if it was the SPECIFIC god that you're referring to (the Christian version), I'd have no choice but to obey him if I wanted eternal bliss in some kind of heaven, right? It wouldn't matter how I felt about His behavior, would it. Even if I was complete disgusted about the way He did things, I'd have to follow all those rules if I wanted to get to His Happy Place. I would clearly still be appalled at all those things He did, but I guess I'd just have to suck it up and smile.

I'm a Christian I let wicked scumbags keep living because vengence belongs to the Lord!

Lately I've been tempted to become a Muslim so I can move out of the USA and kill non-believers in God! I'd really enjoy it!

Then I would act as if God was real but needed to be opposed.

This is what I like to call, "The Evil Overlord" scenario. Follow or suffer... I don't think I'd be capable of worshipping him if he's as horrific as the OT depicts him to be. No matter how afraid I was, I could just never come to consider him a morally good being.

They already know God is, God has revealed himself to all men

Romans 1: 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,
