What is the purpose of life to you atheists? Just follow the rituals of survival and pass the torch to your kids?

The religion of atheism really doesn't offer anything as a worldview, especially in regards to the meaning of life. Many atheists have even conceded to the fact that their religion does not offer any purpose, any meaning, any goal or anything else along those lines for that matter.

This isn't about being cruel, it's about being realistic & recognising that atheism, as a religion, doesn't offer anything of any significance as it literally just teaches that there are no objective moral values, we're all here because of random chance genetic mutations that are known to be the cause of death, diseases, disorders, disabilities, etc, not to mention that Macroevolution has no goal.

Belief in the Christian God teaches that we were all deliberately created, six thousand years ago, in six literal, twenty four days, by an omnipotent, omnibenevolent God, who wants to have a personal relationship with all of His creation, & one day reconcile all back to Him in Heaven & the New Jerusalem.

What is the purpose of life to you atheists? Just follow the rituals of survival and pass the torch to your kids?

- Better than having your imaginary friend lead you around by the nose.

What are you striving for ( the ultimate goal)?

- Leave this world a better place than how I found it.

Why is it you do everything for a reason yet the purpose of life itself is not known?!

- I have a purpose in life, and it does not entail being lead around by the nose by an imaginary friend.

I would like to have some enjoyment from life, and make the world a better place in some small measure.

An Atheists' life is based on a total avoidance of what believers succumb to.

For example:

Only man would write a “new” testament as a prescription

that would eliminate his sins, by utilizing the death of someone other than himself to do so.

For the church to then endorse this narrative which informs us

that God made us so imperfectly that He had to send down 'back-up' in the form of a

complete idiot like "christ" ... ought to tell you everything that you need to know about Christian belief.

When mankind finally understands `God`, there will never again be a "christ" ... or any need for one.

"Christianity" is not something to be feared, and it is not inevitable … all it requires, is total avoidance.

Gods cannot provide the purpose of life because gods does not exist, is a fact that gods that lose their believers always end in the myth section the old tradition of reality.

All of us humans are faced with the reality of our insignificance in the universe, in knowing that we live a mortal life. If some religious person in the wake of this realization turns toward the sky seeking gods to save him from his mortality and from his impotence, we atheists only look around us and recognize that none of this makes us impotent in the lives of our lovers, in the lives of our families and in the lives of our fellow human beings.

My purpose is to have as happy and comfortable life as I can possibly manage.

So far I've been successful. It doesn't sound as though you can say the same.

To promote their own selfish genes and then die

It is certainly not to make stuff to threaten others with. Reality seems to have eluded you completely.

If there is no God, then man and the universe are doomed. Like prisoners condemned to death, we await our unavoidable execution in the heat death of the universe…If God does not exist, then life is futile.

But Atheists don't live as though that were true. Atheists ignore the logical conclusions of their evolutionary worldview, then steal biblical principles and pretend they’re really theirs in order to function in God’s created universe.
