He's got a daughter (Kim Ju-ae) which can complicate things. As much as I'd like to say assassination would greatly reduce the N. Korea nuclear threat, my better judgment concludes she or order of succession is going to pick up where the 'old man' left off.

Yes, but we would have to change some things to do that. Multiple presidents (Ford, Carter, and Reagan) issued executive orders prohibiting assassination.
