1999 Chevy Blazer 4 wheel drive ?

hi guys ! I am having a little trouble with the 4 wheel drive on my 1999 Chevy Blazer ! it has the push button 4 wheel drive with the automatic 4 wheel drive ! all the buttons work except the 4 LO , all it does is keep blinking ! they all work except the 4LO !did any of you ever run into a problem like that ? would it be the button switch on the dash causing it ? I been thinking about changing the switch but I like to know if that's the problem first ! thanks guys !

The switch is the easiest thing to try first. Then you need to pin test the switches on the transfer case.

Hi range is just a magnetic clutch in the transfer case, and there's not much to go wrong. Lo range actually shifts gears in the transfer case. It's probably not the switch, but either the shift solenoid in the case (expensive) or the sensor contacts that tell the shift controller what range the case is. (Not as expensive)

It means there's a transmission failure. It's not the switch.
