Edit: The study compares Republican men in the NE to Democrats and women in the south. I would say this study is a little skewed. Why don't they compare Republican men in the NE to Democrat men in the NE; or compare Republican men in the south with Democrat women in the south; or compare women to men in the south; or Republican women to Democrat women in the south. No, this was not a good study....trying to compare apples to oranges.

Conservatives come from a social background that allows them to tip generously, and eat out at fancy joints. A lot of people simply can't do that, and life is always getting harder what with soaring student debt and raising house prices, it's getting impossible. Only those in privileged circumstances can afford to tip well though.
