what degree should I go for?
I am 16 and thinking about college and my future.I am very good at American Sign Language and science. I would like to do something in the science degree. I thought I could be a science teacher, but it is to much work and the state pays you very little. I really want to work with people. is there anywhere i could work with a science degree and what one do you think I should get? i could get a two year ASL degree and work at a local theater but i am worried about getting carpeltunnles in my hands. if I work at a theater I wonder if they will give me good insurance coverage and a good retirement plan.

You still have plenty of time to actually decide what degree you want. You have to get the basics out of the way before taking classes specific to your degree. Once you complete those, check out different degrees in the science field and see which one has the most classes that interest you and start going toward that route. You can also always minor in ASL if you want that as a back up. I'm pretty sure that will count toward a foreign language anyway, which is a basics requirement
