I am a very good song writer and I would like them to get published. how do I get some type of singer to buy them? how do I ... what's it called when you go to some place and announce hat the song idea is yours and do paperwork? how do I do that?

You want to copyright your work. You would also need to make "demos", which are your lyrics and music together with your voice or a hired person's voice, which show a publisher how your song is supposed to sound.

Demos are not cheap, and overnight success is almost never the truth. I wish you luck.
