Politics: anyone else curious why "personal responsibility" regressives are whining about Liberals not helping enough in Texas?

That type almost always only see that kind of ill in *other* people. "You" are a lazy welfare mooch, "I" am down on my luck because of circumstances beyond my control. "You" are looking for government handouts, "I" am merely trying to get what I am owed. And so on.

To some extent, most of us do this, in one way or another, but they tend to be masters at it.

I've been reading the news constantly for days. can't say I've seen anything remotely like you say. How noble of you to use a natural disaster to try to score some sort of points against the people you loathe.

Nobody expects liberals to help out when it's actually good taxpaying American citizens in need of help.
