It is from the files of the Ministerium für Staatssicherheit of the German Democratic Republic. I am doing research on the operation described. I would be grateful for a translation into English that preserves as much as possible of the official government style. . Please also expand abbreviations if possible.

The file about (black) is to be archived.
Reasons for the archiving:
Lt. Col. (black) was the Deputy Chief of the MVM of the US-MVM and responsible for the realization of the reconnaissance line LSK/LV on the territory of the GDR.
From 8 September 1976 to 6 January 1980 he was a member of the accredited staff of the US-MVM.
(white) was dealt with as personnel priority due to a plan of measures.
In a meeting on personnel priorities among MVM-members with the Soviet Friends, it was confided that the Friends successfully had performed a targeted measure of discrediting of (black) and his designated successor (white) around year's end of 1979 (29 December).
Both officers were disciplinarily held accountable and removed from the MVM-staff by March 1980. A procedure in the court martial of the US Air Force was considered.
On 6 January 1980 (black) withdrew from the MVM-staff and had to leave Westberlin toward the USA. Presumably, he won't be deployed in the staff of the MVM again. Thus, the processing of the personnel priority Tonge is closed. Therefore, the material -(black)- will be filed in the archive.
