Is this another good reason for not having Turkey in the EU?

Just one of many. They are lightyears from meeting the EU accession criteria, and under Erdogan are falling ever further behind. At this point it is looking unlikely they will ever be admitted.

As I told my Turkish friends years ago, they would be insane to join the EU. They certainly do not need it.

Yet liars still come on here and tell us, as they did during the referendum campaign, that the EU's borders will extend to Syria, Iraq and Iran.

As an EU member, UK could, of course, veto Turkish entry into the EU if it were ever to arise. Outside the union, we'd have no such power.

Its about time that old fraud Darwin bit the dust for good old Islamic values. Pull down Darwin statues now !
