Today Fri Oct13, 2017, I saw a big black moth over my back door (keep in mind, it is Oct) Are there any superstitions regarding black moths?

I have a coworker that said 6 months of constant unexplainable annoyance involving everything including your cars home and everything you own breaking down periodically.if you try to kill it or it gets in the house. leave it alone and karmas bad luck wont bother you. good luck

Probably there is. I don't know of any myself (and I come from an Irish Catholic family, so I know a lot of superstitions), but there's got to be one or two out there somewhere. There's a superstition for pretty much everything.

I started getting visited a couple of years ago by moths & butterflies, but mostly moths. I even had them land on me... in December on my porch at night.

These creatures are usually harbingers of transitions coming... I found that to be true. My life has since been pretty much turned upside-down. Much has changed.
