question about re-re-registering?

so long story short, my sister is going to refinancing my car because it's going to be hers. and they couldn't continue with the process because my car is registered in Texas and she lives in California. soooo... i had to re register to California (FKing $230 or something). and then i found out that the total cost to refinance will be almost as much as a new FKing car..... of course we cancelled the deal.

so i was wondering if it will cost as much to re-re-register it back to texas? or should i just leave it registered in cali? 0.o.... >XD this some BSSSS!!!!!

The vehicle must be registered in the state where the owner resides, the only exception is if the owner is active duty military, active duty personnel can live in any state of the U.S. or it's territories and can keep registration and drivers license in their home state.

Hien, you can only register the vehicle within the state you claim residence. Period.

If you live in Texas, the car must be registered in Texas.
