Do Blu-ray players and UHD Blu-ray players recognize a USB keyboard plugged into the front USB media reader?
It would seem that searching for titles at Netflix would be much faster with a keyboard than with the player's remote. I haven't tried it because I can't find mine, and my PC uses a PS/2 keyboard.

Depends on the specific player in question.
The Sony player I have from 2010 has 2 USB ports. However, they only support either a flash drive for viewing content or a proprietary Wi-Fi adapter.
