thats a grey area as Ford can say they have done everything to correct issue that could reasonably be expected. the counter argument will be.. was that fix in fact a long term or was it an attempt to 'fix' an issue and failed? if we have only the one off incident its likely a court would find favour for Ford. If we can find say a couple of dozen with same failings 'after' the fix.. then we have a reason to complain that fix was not sufficient or permanent and Ford ought to contribute to repair costs. note contribute ..it will not be expected to cover all costs as car was in fact being enjoyed for a period after that first repair. do contact owners clubs etc see if you can get feed back and support form others in same boat or those that have had to pay for own fix!

You are SOL. The recall was done on your car. Any other repair costs after that will come from your pocket. Oh well, time to buy a GM.

Ford are correct. Once the recall work has been carried out on an out of warranty vehicle, they can wash their hands of any further responsibility.
They know that it will cost you far more to prove any case against them than it will for you to just swallow the repair costs and move on.
You can bleat and moan all you wish and you may well be correct, but all you’ll achieve is more avoidable stress and expense regarding a straightforward repair.
It may seem unfair, but that’s just how it is.

look at the site that lists vehicle recalls and see if there's info there + remember you purchased a 5 year old vehicle w/??? amount of miles

This is an update to the question, as YA isn't letting me add details.
I purchased a used 2013 Fusion six months ago. Yesterday the power steering failed and I learned that the bolts for the electric steering motor had corroded and broken, so the steering gear needs to be replaced.
My vehicle had a recall for this issue, and when I called Ford I learned that the service had been performed on June 8, 2015. The Ford representative said that they no longer had any responsibility as the recall service had already been fulfilled. Is this correct? If a part covered by a recall fails after the service is performed, is Ford still responsible?
The recall number is 15S14.
