My Blue Heeler Dog licks and nipples my face. How do I get it to stop?

Don't allow it to occur to begin with, immediate correction time when caught in the act, it's called training which is your responsibility, not the dogs. NOT "slapping and now fist to the head" which does not teach it anything other than to become more like it's troll owner. Perhaps consider re-homing it with someone that Really Cares, and don't get anymore pets.

Keep your face away from the dog.....problem solved.

When it goes for the face, put up your arms and cross them in front of your face. Show the dog your face is off-limits.

Don't get your face down to his level? It wouldn't bother me UNLESS I knew he'd been into something 'nasty' immediately before!!
