I found casino chips from the Venetian in a handbag leftover from a trip a year ago. Can I use them in 2018 when we go back?
Can anyone verify you can use or cash in casino chips ($25 and $5 chips, not table chips) that are over 1 1/2 years old? I switched to a handbag I hadn't used since our Vegas trip last year and found them in a compartment. We are going back to Las Vegas in a few months, I can make a trip to the Venetian then but would like to know if they're still worth anything before we go.

Take them to the cashier and explain you forgot to cash them out during your last visit. If they're legit checks they should either cash them out for you or give you new checks that you could cash out later on.

Best bet is to call the casino and ask if they are still recognized as viable chips.

They certainly should be- unless the casino changes its chips. In that case, go to the cashier window and ask to exchange them for the new chips.
