Can someone please explain why Trump blames the Democrats for DACA?

Trump is gambling, using DACA to get funding for the wall, he's playing with the lives of 800,000 people.

It was Obama who issued an Executive Order which was not in his authority. Yes, only Congress can create laws. The Democrats passed it. It ends in March I think.

Trump is jealous of Obama. He always has been obsessed with Obama.

The interesting history of the DREAM Act (Development, Rehabilitation, and Education for Alien Minors) upon which DACA is based began with a bipartisan Senate bill sponsored by Senators Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Orrin Hatch (R-UT) in 2001---a bill that cleared the Committee, but which was not brought to a vote in the House. Constitutional scholar Barack Obama came into office willing to work with both parties, but did not know at the time the Congressional Republicans had chosen to commit open treason on Inauguration night during President Obama's swearing in---they met in secret on Capital Hill that night to PLOT AGAINST the new man-of-color hugely popular Democratic President Obama, each GOP lawmaker VOWING TO BLOCK EVERYTHING, no matter how much merit. Block every piece of legislation offered, and every single nomination made for the purpose of (to quote Senator Mitch McConnell, R-KY), "limiting this president to only one term." This was done DURING WAR TIME and also DURING ECONOMIC CRISIS, and that makes what these Republican Senators and Congressmen did TREASON.

It is this GOP sabotage that prevented any meaningful and sorely needed immigration reforms passed, despite several attempts by the Obama team to reach out to criminally partisan powers-abusing Congressional Republicans his first year in office. While working to secure our borders, President Obama also wanted ot help the "Dreamers"---the illegal immigrants who had been brought to this country when they were minor children with no say in the matter, so he reviewed the 2001 DREAM Act and chose to set up the "Delayed Action for Children Aliens" or DACA as a way to get some reforms in place. DACA is NOT amnesty because the reprieve from deportation is in two-year increments only, but the Republican propaganda machine tried to say otherwise. To qualify, a Dreamer has to have lived in this country for five consecutive years PRIOR TO 2009, so no one arriving prior to 2004 is eligible for DACA. In the five years prior to 2009, applicants must have no criminal records, they must pay a fine for being here illegally, they must speak English (as required in the Constitution), and they have to catch up on back taxes owed, if any. Once they clear the vetting, these young folks (many of whom have lived here in the U.S. all of their lives) can come out of the shadows, get driver's licenses (which helps us too because they'd have to have insurance), attend schools and colleges, hold jobs without getting paid under the table, and join our military. This is a good program, and about 800,000 young folks came forward to participate. It is these young adults who are being unfairly targeted by the xenophobic Trump administration's failure to honor DACA even though fines have been paid and conditions have been met.

Trump has likely never had to face consequences for any of his bad acts in life. One way Trump avoids being called out on his criminal bad behaviors is to project blame away from himself and onto innocent others...or else he creates controversies just to detract people's attentions. Picture Trump as a toddler manipulating his rich relatives with his tantrums or antics. It is we, the people, who have to make him accountable---join the resistance!

The Democrats have enough votes to shut down the government, they think they can dictate terms, but they can't, America voted for the GOP at all levels of the government, Trump knows this, America knows this, that's why by their actions the Democrats are rejecting their country and DACA, its time to vote these idiots out full circle, they deserve another shellacking because obviously they don't get it.

Because they issued a statement saying that they will refuse the negotiate any further on the matter because of some things Trump ALLEGEDLY SAID. What ever happened to innocent until PROVEN guilty? Guess liberals don't care in the court of public opinion.
