My fiancé is at basic training and no one has received a call yet?
My fiance is at basic and I've gotten two letters so far. Neither his mom or I have received a call from him since he started. We got calls during reception and a call when he was about to leave reception. Will he be able to make a call anytime soon? He wrote in my letter that he's been waiting to make a call, so he can call me.. Are all their calls short? How many times do they get a chance to call? And no, we didn't miss any of his calls. He wrote that he hasn't been able to make a call yet. He's been at basic for 19 days now...

If he's already called once, I wouldn't plan on any more. If you've got his address, start writing letters.
You get more freedom in AIT, but calling in basic is limited (one might well be it).

chances are, he will not get another call while in basic

19 Days is nothing. There is zero guarantee there will be a call. If it is allowed then it is on Sundays and not for very long. The branch also plays a factor, Marines won’t happen, Navy one about 1/2 through, AF a few and Army it depends on where he is.
You asked the question before and the answers haven’t changed

I did not use a phone at all while at Basic. I did write a few letters, barely - I just did not have the time. Time is a different thing at Basic, and not your own.

Calls must earned. Do not expect any. If he does earn one, it will be on Sunday only
