Now that the stock market has plunged 1000 points, is Trump to blame or does he only get praise for the good stuff?

Funny, I just answered a post yesterday asking why Trump was taking credit for economy that Obama built. So you tell me, is this a result of Obama or Trump, and if it recovers (which it is doing already) who gets the credit? You can't have both ways.

Ill go on record saying that Trump is responsible for all gains or loses after his first year.

I think it is a correction after the huge rise in the index very quickly over the last 6 months. That does not hurt the economy the way it used to, reflecting a lousy job market. The job market is very good. It might be the very slight rise in interest rates that caused it or it may have to do with some tech companies, I had heard something about Apple but dont understand it.

You know his supporters will only praise him for the so called good stuff.

trump and his supporters will be pointing a finger at President Obama and the Democrats for the plunging of the stock market.

His supporters will claim it's Obama's fault

He'll appear on TV and blame it on Obama and the Democrats. If someone disagrees with him, he'll say he blamed it on Clinton, not Obama. If others disagree with him, he'll blame it on Rosenberg, then Mueller, then Sessions, then George Washington.

You fools would never know that government has zero control over the stock market.

You don't even know that is just how the market works. Always a dip after a high, and if the numbers are scaring you, they are still higher than any time Obama was in office,,and you said nothing.

According to Trump, he is responsible for the stock market, so this is on him.

Presidents dont actually have that much to do with the economy aside from legislation they sign or push for.

In this case, the sell off was largely precipitated by the Wells Fargo ruling that was handed down recently.

Clearly Deep State, as lead by Obama, are responsible for the sell off, the market is just fine but the Fake News is telling you there is a major sell-off and how come the FBI isn't investigating Hillary?

    He'll blame Hillary Clinton's emails.
