They are scripted hacks pushing a false media induced narrative.

Well, first of all the kids aren't going to think you're cool because you're using hip terms like "throwing shade". In fact, when an adult uses a phrase like that they MAKE it uncool.
And second, let's face it, they'll get shade thrown on them no matter what they do. They're either lazy, entitled and disengaged if they aren't proactive or gullible, immature and naive if they are.
These kids seem smart enough to tell the difference between real and fake news, so that makes them smarter than most of the people asking questions here, and our current President in my opinion and they certainly have more direct experience with gun violence and mass shootings then most of us I wager.
Someone old and wise said there isn't anyone so ignorant that you can't learn something from them, but frequently what you learn from people who "throw shade" is that they don't have anything coherent to contribute.

I don't care if they protest. I don't care that they are children
I care if the US is going to be stupid enough to think that their greif makes them correct.
If a man raped a girl, the parents are frequently extremely mad andjust want the rapist killed. Their grief does not give society the authority to suspend the idea of innocent until proven guilty nor take away a jury trial.
They are literally going on air blaming Trump for the shooting. I sympathize with their grief, but that does not make the shooting the fault of Trump. Oddly enough, Trump is considering more gun control than Obama ever did.

They are free to protest. The sad thing is they think anything they are proposing would prevent a future mass shooting.

Kids are persuaded by what they see on social media that they don't know what's factual. Though I admire their passion, they would have been more persuasive in FL if they had not ranted so much. For the first couple of minutes they sounded like adults, but showed their naivety the longer they spoke.

One of the most prominent kids being paraded on CNN and the like is a student journalist who called the NRA child murderers and claimed Trump controlled both houses of Congress. He clearly doesn't understand the issues or basic civics. So naturally he has become the anti-gun media's favorite stooge.
He even defended the FBI after it was revealed there had been literally dozens of alerts and red flags about Cruz that went ignored. Daddy's an FBI agent though, so that was to be expected.

I think the opinion of a teenager on any issue is worth less than a dead rat in a tampon factory. Most teenagers can't vote...and no teenagers should vote.
A teenager's brain hasn't even matured and fully developed yet.

Should they have a voice or are they just kids?

Their thoughts are simplistic like you would expect from kids their age. They are not thinking about others or their country.
