Why can I not appeal reported answers?
I realize many of my responses can be reported by other members and they are removed and appeals issued by an automatic process. But there are some answers that are reported, that when I try to appeal, I get the statement that "it did not come from this address and I cannot appeal". Is this because highly liberal Yahoo admins did not like my reply and will not allow appeal (which they would deny anyway)?

There is no free speech allowed on Yahoo, unless it is the free speech that agrees with their liberal agenda.
