    Well, if you mean (3x-9)/(x-3) = -3x/2,

    3(x - 3)/(x - 3) = -3x/2

    where x - 3 ≠ 0 => x ≠ 3

    Notice that x = 3 makes it undefined

    3 = -3x/2

    x = 3 * (-2/3)

    x = -2

    Presentation is incorrect and should be :-

    (3x - 9) / (x - 3) = - 3x / 2_________NOTE brackets

    6x - 18 = - 3x^2 + 9x

    3x^2 - 3x - 18 = 0

    x^2 - x - 6 = 0

    [ x - 3 ] [ x + 2 ] = 0

    x = 3 , x = - 2

    Use parentheses. Assuming this is (3x-9)/(x-3) = (-3x)/2, x = -2. Factor out the three, cancel, multiply both sides by -(2/3). Also, don't ask the internet to do your homework.
