I'd prefer that liberals be educated enough about our country's history that they can see that Trump is part of a long populist tradition in US politics. Like William Jennings Bryan and the Bull Moose Party. (The comparisons to the election of 1912 are, I believe, especially telling.)

Liberals calling things they don't like "Nazi" merely means the liberal is semi-conscious, and probably not terribly concussed. Liberals are so woefully uneducated that they think human history started in 1776 and encompasses only the US and Europe.

This is my preference. But I have no real expectations that liberals will ever take up the responsiblity of educating themselves.

But at any rate...I hope you liberals will cherish your ideas...because you have so few of them.
