Do you believe Republican presidents are better at lowering unemployment than Democratic presidents? If so, why?

I checked the unemployment rate for every post World War II president in the months they took office and left office. With the exception of Ronald Reagan, the rate was higher in the month a Republican president left office than in the month he took office. During the same time period, no Democratic president had a higher rate in the month he left office than in the month he took office.

no, for starters the largest budget deficits always occur during the Republican administration. Also, look how both Bush,s wrecked the economy. When Obama took office the economy was loosing jobs and in a tail spin.Unemployment dropped and the economy grew under Obama. for at least the first 6 months of Trump, you saw Obama,s policies continuing to work.

Republicans give tax cuts that benefit primarily the rich. the man on the street a thousand dollars a year, less than twenty dollars a, week. the ultra rich get a huge tax cut. We had a horrible economy under Nixon. and both Bush,s. The incredibly high interest

rates which had to drop, no matter who was President, happened under Reagan and that, cutting interest rate is why the economy recovered.
