do people drink water wile drinking alchohol?

They say you should drink a glass of water in between each drink to stay hydrated, but I don't think many would do that.

Many do, because alcohol is dehydrating.

Drinking water with the booze so you won't be so dehydrated. It may not kill a hangover entirely, but it for sure lessen it.
