What is attractive to white leftists about their ideology?

I'll start by looking at things that have had some major impacts on my life/.

As a child I caught a disease that killed millions. I survived because my parents had health insurance that allowed me to be treated at a University hospital. I got a good education in public schools When I went to college tuition was low because over two thirds of the expenses f a public university were paid by governments, and the minimum wage was high enough that I could support myself working 30 hoours a week at minimum wage,

When I got a full time job I chose one that had good benefits but paid somewhat less. I stayed at that job until I retired in my fifties. (I had turned down other job offers which would have paid 50% more.) I have lived over ten years comfortably on my pension, and next month will start receiving Social Security retirement benefits.

Leftist benefits I have mentioned so far

I also appreciate many other aspects of the left which have made this a stronger and healthier country, including civil rights, without which I believe civil disorder would be a big problem in much of the country.

Although it is not commonly recognized as a leftist strength, I have noticed that Democratic administrations have been much more fiscally responsible and managed the economy much better during my life. For example, unemployment has gone up during every Republican administration except for Ronald Reagan's, but it has not gone up under a single Democratic administration. (measured by comparing the rate the month the president took office and the month he left office.) The only two presidents who left office with a budget surplus were both Democrats. Obama is the only other president who left office with a budget deficit less than half what it was when he took office. .The budget deficits more than doubled under presidents GW Bush, Reagan, Ford, and Nixon,

They want more power and facism

You buy "good feelings" with other peoples money...

It is compassionate. We believe that government should look after those who cannot fend for themselves. Thus we are for universal healthcare, we are for affordable housing, we are for community service by the police, we are for public transportation, and so on. In other words we are for the people, all of them; even those who are poor and indigent.

And my understanding is that the black, yellow, and brown leftists are also for the same or similar things.
